When I downloaded and installed the drivers from the splix packages, they did not land in: HD/library/printers/PPDs/content/resources/en.oproj/ they landed in: /usr/share/cups/model/samsung and /usr/share/cups/model/dell The choices were not coming up in the “Printer Setup” process and I tried all different ways. I should’ve remembered this as I had the same problem on OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard. Unfortunately, Mac OS X Lion does not include drivers for the Samsung ML-1210, a cheap old black and white laser printer that I bought years ago.
